Fuelab Pro Series Fuel System Components: Go Big so You Don’t Go Home
It takes a lot of fuel to power a race car making 2,000-plus horsepower, especially one that drinks E85, diesel, or straight alcohol. Fortunately, Fuelab has you covered with its new Pro Line fuel system components. They’re big on fuel flow so your engine stays fed—and you can stay at the track and do more racing.
Pro Series Spur Gear Electric Fuel Pump
Designed to feed engines making 2,500-plus horsepower, the Pro Series Spur Gear pump flows 5.5 gallons of fuel per minute at 45 PSI. That’s like turning on a giant garden hose and letting it run.
The pump has a strong spur gear pump mechanism and a super-efficient DC brushless motor with a low mass rotor that can react quickly to changes in pump speed and fuel flow. The motor’s low current draw means less heat that can cause low fuel pressure or damage the pump. And with no motor brushes to corrode or wear out, the pump can handle highly oxygenated fuel like E85 and low-sulfur diesel. Other features include:
• Integral variable motor speed controller—no expensive add-on voltage regulators or pump controllers required
• Accepts PWM input for variable speed control
• Wet motor design with no dynamic shaft seals to fail
• Fluorosilicone static seals compatible with most race fuels
• Billet aluminum and stainless steel construction, weighs just 3.5 pounds
• Compatible with 12- to 24-volt vehicle electrical systems
• -10AN inlet and outlet ports
Pro Series Extreme Flow Inline Fuel Filters
Built for maximum flow with minimal pressure drop, the Pro Series Extreme Flow Fuel Filters are rated at 10 GPM of fuel flow and 200 PSI of fuel pressure. The billet aluminum filters are available with six, 40, and 100 micron elements for pre- or post-pump applications. Your choice of -10AN or -12AN inlet and outlet ports. Mounting brackets are included.
565 Series Bypass Fuel Pressure Regulators
With a bypass capability of over 5 GPM at 5 PSI, a 1.75 inch diaphragm with a 1/2-inch return orifice, plus two -10AN ports and one -10AN return port, these regulators can handle a tanker-truck’s worth of fuel. The regulator has a fine thread-pitch adjustor for precise pressure adjustment, 1/8 inch NPT gauge and pressure reference ports, and a mounting bracket with stainless steel hardware. Your choice of pressure ratings: 25-65 PSI and 40-80 PSI for EFI; 10-25 PSI for TBI fuel injection; and 4-12 PSI for carbureted engines.
