GEN-Y Hitch Torsion Flex Trailer Hitches Now Available at Summit Racing

Once upon a time, the owner of a commercial tree care business was looking for a hitch system that would work with all of his trucks and towed equipment. Not finding one, he designed his own—an adjustable tri-ball/pintle combination hitch which allowed a truck to tow any trailer or piece of equipment without any special adjustments needed. The patented GEN-Y Hitch Torsion Flex design features stacked receivers so you can easily adjust the height to tow any bumper-mount trailer. Unlike hard-connection hitches, the GEN-Y hitches’ heavy-duty rubber torsion flex cords transfer just 10 percent of the trailer inertia to the tow vehicle. Braking and maneuvering are greatly enhanced since the weight on the tow vehicle and trailer is evenly distributed. The Torsion Flex design also allows the tow vehicle and trailer to track independently, reducing sway and trailer bounce. You could even see an increase in fuel economy. Other features include:

The Boss Torsion Flex Adjustable Drop Hitches are available in 10,000, 16,000, 21,000, and 32,000 pound maximum trailer weight ratings. Choose from hitches with 2, 2 1/2, or 3 inch receivers and up to 15 ball drop options, and most hitches come with a hitch ball and pins.
