Get all the Fuel Flow You Need with Billet Atomizer Fuel Injectors
If you want to run with the big boys, you best have fuel injectors that can deliver massive amounts of gas or alcohol. Making electronic fuel injectors for racing is all Billet Atomizer does. It developed the first purpose-built, all-billet EFI injector for race use. If you need a celebrity endorsement, ask Ryan Martin whose injectors are on the 4,500 horsepower twin turbo motor in his No Prep Kings Fireball Camaro.
Billet Atomizer injectors are not reworked diesel injectors. They are hand-built from billet aluminum and have a larger coil and faster-responding internal geometry to quickly and precisely deliver fuel at the high rates needed to feed a race engine. The injectors’ Atomizer Flow Technology more efficiently dissipates fuel into the combustion chamber for a cleaner, consistent burn and lightning fast turbo spooling.
Atomizer injectors are rebuildable—the coil, internal components, and lower bodies can be rebuilt or replaced if there’s any type of failure. The injectors are also fully calibrated in-house to within one-half-percent to make them as precise as possible.
Summit Racing carries two types of Billet Atomizer injectors:
Atomizer 3 Injectors
Atomizer 3 injectors have fast opening and closing times injectors for precise fuel delivery. They are available in flow ratings from 160 lbs.-hr. up to 850 lbs.-hr. Atomizer 3 injectors come with standard O-ring fittings or with -4 male AN top and swivel -6AN ORB bottom fittings for use on a wide variety of race engines, including engines with screw-style superchargers. Custom calibrations are available—talk with your Summit Racing sales rep for details.
The Atomizer 4 Injectors
Many racers have to use two fuel injectors per cylinder in boosted applications because there hasn’t been a single injector that could move enough fuel. Delivering a whopping 1,000 lbs.-hr. of fuel flow, the Atomizer 4 injectors allow you to use one injector per cylinder. A single injector setup is more efficient because it won’t pump unneeded fuel into the cylinder. In the event of an injector failure, a single-injector setup won’t lean out a cylinder and cause catastrophic engine damage, either.
Atomizer 4 injectors also have more than triple the number of atomization holes in the disc than the Atomizer 3s—205 to be exact—to help ensure fuel vaporizes proper at maximum capacity and burn efficiently. The injectors have no internal O-rings to eliminate leaks and are completely rebuildable.
