Get Classic Style and Modern Handling with Diamond Back Tires

Diamond Back Tires combine the best of both worlds—the look of classic whitewall, redline, blueline and goldline tires with the handling and ride quality of modern radial tires. Diamond Back can perform such wizardry because they add the sidewall finish to a finished tire instead of during the tire-making process. That gives Diamond Back the ability to add whitewalls or a color stripe on any tire from 13 to 22 inches in diameter. Thanks to Diamond Back’s vulcanization process, those whitewalls and stripes aren’t going anywhere—they are a permanent part of the tire.

Diamond Back Tires uses tires from major manufacturers instead of off-brands or has its tires made using brand-new molds incorporating the latest design technology. You get nothing but first-quality tires all the way around.

Summit Racing carries 12 styles of Diamond Back Tires including these:

Diamond Back I Tire
These are Diamond Back’s most affordable tires, but that doesn’t mean you sacrifice quality. Diamond Back I tires are based on a Nexen radial with an ‘S’ speed rating (112 MPH) for the 75 series tires and a ‘T’ speed rating (118 MPH) for all other sizes. Diamond Back I tires are available in 14 and 15 inch diameters with whitewalls or your choice of redline, goldline, or blueline stripes.

Diamond Back Touring Tire
Based on a high-quality Uniroyal Tiger Paw tire, the Diamond Back Touring tire is available in 15, 16, 17, 18, and 20 inch diameters including some hard-to-find sizes other tire makers don’t offer. It has a non-directional tread for longer life and easier tire rotation. Your choice of whitewall, blackwall, and redline, goldline, or blueline stripes.

Z5 Tire
Available in 17, 18, 19, and 20 inch diameters, the Z5 is a high-performance tire with a Y speed rating (186 MPH) and excellent wet-weather performance. It’s the perfect tire for Pro Touring rides, slammed pickups and customs, and most any vehicle that can use a low-profile tire. The wide range of sizes means you can dial in the perfect staggered setup for your build and have matched tread patterns. Your choice of whitewall, blackwall, and redline, goldline, or blueline stripes.

Auburn Deluxe and Auburn Premium Tires
The Auburn Deluxe and Premium Tires are made just for Diamond Back. They have the period-correct tread design for classic vehicles plus the handling and ride quality of a modern radial.

The Auburn Deluxe has the ‘pie-crust’ edge appropriate for vehicles from the 1940s through the early 1960s. It is available in 15 and 16 inch diameters in your choice of whitewall or blackwall styles.

The Auburn Premium has the period-correct tread style for 1960s and early 1970s cars that came with bias-ply tires. It is available in whitewall or blackwall styles or with a redline, goldline, or blueline stripe.
