Get Down with What's Up with a Belltech Lift Kit for GM Trucks

It might sound unusual for a company that made its name in the lowering business to get into lift kits. But suspension geometry is suspension geometry, whether you’re hitting the asphalt or looking for ground clearance. And if there is one thing Belltech knows how to do, its dialing in a suspension.

Belltech Lift Kits for GM half-ton pickups are designed to provide excellent ride quality and handling, even with lifts as high as seven inches. Here’s how it’s done:

Shocks
Belltech Lift Kits feature Street Performance front struts and two rear Street Performance twin-tube shocks. The struts are height-adjustable and tuned for handling and responsiveness on and off-road. The custom-engineered rear shocks have low-speed compression and rebound settings designed to improve ride quality.

Front Spindles
Belltech spindles are stronger than the OE spindles, yet reduce unsprung weight. They preserve factory ball joint angles, steering angles, and track width, all without inducing bump steer. A Belltech lift kit also maintains the factory turning radius so you won’t need two football fields to turn around.

Differential Drop-Down Bracket
Belltech’s one-piece front differential drop-down bracket is engineered to maintain the OEM differential, driveshaft, and CV joint angles. Belltech also includes CV spacers to fine-tune the geometry as needed.

Front Sway Bar
Other lift kits include a drop-down bracket for the front sway bar. Belltech goes one better and includes a heavy-duty 1 3/8 inch diameter sway bar to improve handling, especially when turning or in the curves.

Other Stuff
• Heavy-duty, 1/4 inch thick front and rear crossmembers add strength and ground clearance
• 1/4 inch thick, laser-cut skid plate protects driveline and steering components
• Heavy-duty tie rod ends for improved steering response
• Rear lift blocks with longer heavy-duty U-bolts to level the truck’s stance
• Heavy-duty Grade 10 hardware

Belltech Lift Kits for 2007-18 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 crew and extended cab pickups are available in four, six, or seven inch lift heights. They’re covered by Belltech’s limited lifetime warranty.
