Get Extreme Protection for Direct Injection Engines with Driven Racing Oil DI Synthetic Motor Oil
Many modern, small-displacement gasoline engines use direct injection (DI) to introduce fuel. Unlike traditional port injection that sprays fuel into the intake manifold to mix with air before going into the combustion chamber, direct injection uses a high-pressure injector to spray fuel directly into the engine’s combustion chamber. The benefits include improved gas mileage, higher-power output, more torque, and lower CO2 emissions.
The downsides of direct injection include carbon buildup, soot-related wear on valves and ports, and low-speed pre-ignition issues. Driven Racing DI Synthetic Motor Oil is made just for DI engines and provides better protection than API-spec oils.
They use an advanced additive package that delivers these benefits:
• Prevents low-speed pre-ignition
• High-temp, high-shear protection and stability
• Minimized intake valve carbon deposits
• Reduced soot-related wear
• Better control of crankcase vapors
Driven Racing DI Synthetic Oil is available in 0W-20, 5W-30, 5W-40, and 15W-50 weights. They are sold in single quarts, and sets of six or 12 quarts.
Driven Racing DI Series Motor Oil does not meet any current API or OEM engine oil specifications. For your high-revving or hot-rodded daily driver, classic street rod, or muscle car, Summit Racing carries these Driven Racing Oils.
