Get Improved Stopping Power and More Horsepower with these New Summit Racing Brand Products

Every racer wants brakes that brake and engines that make horsepower. We’ve added two new Summit Racing-brand products that will help fulfill both needs.

Summit Racing™ Tapered Carburetor Spacers
Our Tapered Carburetor Spacers smoothly transition from a four hole design at the carburetor to an open plenum at the intake manifold. That essentially creates four venturis to increase airflow through the carburetor boosters and improve air and fuel distribution to the intake manifold runners. And that, friends, means more horsepower.

Summit Racing Tapered Carburetor Spacers are machined from billet aluminum and have a black-anodized finish. They’re available in one and two inch heights for 4150-style squarebore and Dominator-style carburetors.

Summit Racing™ DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid
Heat is your brake fluid’s worst enemy. Air pockets form in the fluid as it heats up, a condition called vapor lock that can cause brake fade and a loss of stopping power. If you use brake fluid with a low dry boiling point, the quicker you’ll get vapor lock.

That’s why you need a performance brake fluid like Summit Racing’s DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid. The fully synthetic fluid has a minimum dry boiling point of 572 degrees F (300 degrees C) to reduce vapor lock and brake fade for high performance street-driven and track day cars. For dedicated road race and circle track cars that generate a ton of heat from constant braking, we have Summit Racing DOT 4 High-Temp Racing Brake Fluid with a minimum dry boiling point of 608 degrees F (320 degrees C).
