Get More Holding Capacity and Better Street Manners with a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit
Most clutches are a compromise. For example, more holding capacity generally means a stiffer clutch pedal, less agreeable street manners, and shorter clutch disc life.
That’s not the case with a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit. The heart of the Dual Friction clutch is the disc. It has a segmented organic facing on one side for increased holding capacity and full organic face on one side to improve clutch life.
You also get a diaphragm-style pressure plate with Centerforce’s patented centrifugal weight and ball bearing technology. As the clutch spins, centrifugal force is applied to the weights that is transferred through the diaphragm to the pressure plate. This increases clamp load as engine RPM increases. The clutch diaphragm pivots on a ring of ball bearings for a smooth engagement and release, increased clamp load, and lighter pedal effort.
Summit Racing carries Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kits for everything from classic trucks to modern muscle cars. Most kits include the clutch disc and pressure plate, but a few come with a throwout bearing, a billet steel flywheel, or both. A pilot bushing and alignment tool included depending on the application.
