Get More Juice and Improved Reliability for Your Ride with a BIG7Kits Battery Cable Kit

If your Jeep, truck, or SUV needs a replacement battery cable, the smart play is a solution that delivers more power and better performance over standard options. That’s what you get with a direct-fit Battery Cable Kit from BIG7Kits (formerly known as JeepCables). These kits are a no-brainer upgrade when replacing aging, corroded, and undersized factory cables or when adding power-hungry accessories to your ride.

“BIG7” refers to the seven custom-fit cables included in the kits. Kits provide cables that handle the main alternator-to-battery connection and primary grounding loops (commonly called a “Big 3” electrical upgrade), plus additional cables and hardware that allow you to completely replace the charging and starting circuits for better performance and protection.

BIG7 Kits include:

Power/Positive Cables
• Alternator Output to Battery (+): Upgrades the main charging wire to reduce voltage drop from the alternator
• Battery (+) to Starter: Replaces the heavy feed cable for reliable, strong cranking
• Battery (+) to Fuse/Relay Box: Supplies clean, uninhibited power to the Power Distribution Center
• Alternator to Included External Inline Fuse: Connects the alternator charging stud to an inline ANL/MEGA fuse holder for overcurrent protection

Ground/Negative Cables
• Battery (-) to Frame/Body Ground: Main return path connecting the battery negative terminal directly to the vehicle chassis
• Engine Block to Body/Fender Ground: Ensures proper grounding for smaller onboard accessories and the ECU
• Engine Block to Frame Ground: Completes the main ground loop between the heavy block mass and the vehicle frame

BIG7Kits says their upgraded battery cable packages provide improved reliability, starting performance, charging efficiency, and overall electrical capacity. Kits come fully assembled and with clearly labeled ends for each connection, making DIY installation fast and easy.

Other features include:

• Cables made from premium, fine-stranded oxygen-free copper wire—a big upgrade over copper-clad aluminum found in many factory and aftermarket cables
• Corrosion-resistant military-style battery terminals and marine-grade heat shrink protect against harsh underhood environments
• Upgraded current capacity prevents voltage drops and supports heavy draws from large audio systems, high-output alternators, off-road lighting, winches, and other accessories
• Some kits feature cables covered in colorful, heat/abrasion resistant braided wire wrap

Summit Racing carries vehicle-specific BIG7Kits Battery Cable Kits for many popular Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Jeep, and Toyota vehicles. They are available in multiple sizes including 4GA, 2GA, 1/0GA, and heavy-duty 2/0GA.
