Long ago, the folks at Mercury Marine needed a name for their aftermarket parts arm. Someone must have remembered their high school science class and mentioned that quicksilver is a synonym for mercury. The light bulb popped on and Quicksilver Marine was born.

Quicksilver Marine Engine Oils have the exact same formulations as the oil used by Mercury Marine. Not only do they meet warranty requirements for MerCruiser engines, they offer top-quality protection for other marine and personal watercraft engines too.

4-Stroke Marine Engine Oil
Quicksilver 4-Stroke Engine Oils provide outstanding wear and corrosion protection, help eliminate thermal breakdown under extreme RPM, and offer outstanding strength and viscosity retention. The oils maintain their viscosity, protect against varnish buildup and sludge formation, and exceed the rust protection requirements for NMMA certification. The oil meets FC-W and FC-W Catalyst Compatible standards.

4-Stroke Marine Engine Oil is mineral-based and recommended for use in all four-stroke marine outboard, stern drive, and inboard engines that require a FC-W marine engine oil. Available in 10W30, 10W40, 20W40, and 25W40 weights.

High Performance 4-Stroke Marine Engine Oil is a 25W50 weight synthetic oil that offers the same benefits as Quicksilver’s 4-Stroke Marine Oil for Mercury Verado and other high performance marine engines.

Engineered for sterndrive and outboard applications, 4-Stroke Marine Synthetic Blend Engine Oil can be used in marine engines with or without a catalytic converter and meets warranty standards for Mercury MerCruiser engines. It is available in 10W30 and 20W40 weights.

Quicksilver 4-Stroke Marine Synthetic Blend Engine Oil is recommended for use in all 4-stroke outboard engines. It's available in 10W30 and 5W30 weights.

Diesel Engine Oil
Quicksilver makes two types of diesel engine oil. They provide outstanding wear and corrosion protection; help control soot, combustion chamber, and exhaust passage deposits; and help prevent sludge and varnish deposits.

Heavy-Duty Diesel Engine Oil is a 15W40 weight oil formulated for use in Mercury/MerCruiser non-TDI diesel engines but can be used in other marine or non-marine diesel engines.

TDI Diesel Marine Engine Oil is a full synthetic oil ideal for use in Mercury MerCruiser (TDI) Turbocharged Direct Injection diesel engines. The 5W30 weight oil can be used in other marine or non-marine diesel engines.

2-Stroke Engine Oil
Quicksilver 2-Stroke Engine Oil keeps engines for outboards, PWCs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and small engine clean of deposits. They meet NMMA TC-W3 specifications.

Premium TC-W3 2-Stroke Mineral Engine Oil is an ashless disbursement oil that fights rust deposits in the combustion chamber, intake, and exhaust passages. It reduces exhaust smoke and controls deposits that can cause spark plug fouling or sticking rings. 

PWC Full Synthetic 2-Stroke Engine Oil meets the needs of all two-stroke personal watercraft and outboard sport boat engines. This full-synthetic formula can be used in oil-injected or pre-mix applications.

Premium Plus TCW3 Synthetic Blend 2-Stroke Engine Oil is for use in mid- to high-horsepower oil-injected, carbureted, or electronic fuel injected (EFI) engines. It maintains peak engine performance even under severe conditions such as extended full throttle, high speed, heavy load, and "out-of-the-hole" acceleration. Continued use will help reduce corrosion and carbon buildup while providing superior lubrication for internal engine components.
