Get Power to the Wheels with Auburn Gear Differentials at Summit Racing Equipment

Auburn Gear Differentials ensure the proper amount of traction is delivered to each wheel, resulting in the most acceleration and torque possible. Auburn Gear offers a line of race series differentials that includes its Pro, Autocross, and ECTED Max units.

Drivers looking for superior bias torque with lightning-fast engagement will find it with Auburn Gear’s Pro Series differentials. The secret lies in the Pro Series’ unique cone-clutch design, which quickly reacts to rapidly changing load conditions.

The Autocross Road Race series is actually designed to improve a vehicle’s cornering ability by increasing limited slip engagement as the lateral G-force increases. Here’s how it works: in a corner, the outside wheel shaft applies more force to the differential’s center pin, which firmly seats the pinion gears inside the cone/side gear assembly. That means the wheels will receive more “bite” as the turn gets tighter.

Boasting an electronically controlled traction-enhancing, selectable locker with on-the-fly activation, the ECTED Max is essentially two differentials in one. It allows drivers to go from a limited-slip to full-locker differential with the flick of a switch. In addition to being a good choice for race applications, the ECTED Max’s versatility makes it an excellent differential for maintenance/recovery rigs, emergency response vehicles, and snow plow/work trucks. The lockers operate quietly without any shift fork or pins to line up to change the locker mode.

Auburn Gear differentials are hand-assembled and inspected in the USA. They're available for most popular axles, including Ford 9 and 8.8 inch, GM 12-bolt, Chrysler 8.5 inch, and Dana 44.
