Get Reliable Spark with a Summit Racing™ Mopar Electronic Distributor
Chrysler was the first Detroit automaker to make electronic ignition standard back in the early 1970s. If your vintage small or big block still has a points-style distributor, do what Ma Mopar did and convert it to an electronic ignition system like one of our Summit Racing™ Mopar Electronic Distributors.
The distributors are available with your choice of machined cast or billet bodies. Both types have mechanical and vacuum advances, a performance advance curve, plus a reliable magnetic pickup that delivers a hot accurate spark across the rpm range. No points distributor can do that.
The distributors come with an OEM style ‘blue’ ignition control box, coil, ballast resistor and wiring harness to make the swap easy. A cap and rotor are included. The distributors are also available separately if you want to run an aftermarket ignition box.
