Get Rid of Soggy Throttle Response with a Pedal Commander Throttle Response Booster

Modern vehicles with drive-by-wire throttle controls don’t care how much you mash the accelerator pedal—their ECUs control the rate of throttle response based on programming, not your right foot. That’s why you encounter a lag between when you press the pedal and when acceleration actually starts. And lag is no fun.

The Pedal Commander fixes that problem. It plugs into the factory wiring between the electronic accelerator pedal and the ECU. When you press the accelerator pedal, the Pedal Commander intercepts the signal, modifies it according to the settings you have chosen, and sends it to the ECU. That eliminates throttle lag and improves throttle response.

The Pedal Commander has four modes, each of which has nine sensitivity levels:

ECO Mode can improve fuel economy by up to 20% over your vehicle’s factory ratings. It also doubles as a valet mode.

City Mode is ideal for everyday driving. It provides throttle response very similar to an old-school throttle cable setup.

Sport Mode provides a 70% faster throttle signal response than stock. It’s the one you want for extra fun on the street.

Sport+ Mode virtually eliminates throttle lag. Pedal Commander recommends this mode for track and racing use.

You can set up Pedal Commander with buttons on the control module. From there you can adjust settings via your Bluetooth-enabled Apple or Android phone with the free Pedal Commander app.

Pedal Commander will not void the warranty on your car or leave any trace behind on your vehicle’s ECU. It’s covered by a two-year limited warranty and is available for many popular domestic and import vehicles.
