Get Serious Grip at the Track and Better Handling on the Street with an Öhlins Road & Track Coilover Suspension System

Öhlins got its start making shocks, front forks, and other suspension bits for motocross racing. Today the Swedish company makes suspension components for everything from mountain bikes to NASCAR and Formula 1 racing. Öhlins Road & Track Coilover Suspension Systems reflect that racing heritage.

The Road & Track systems are centered around monotube coilover shocks with Öhlins’ DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology. The DFV controls both low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping based on where you set the shock’s adjustment knob. Turn the knob to full-firm (clockwise), then turn it counterclockwise to reach your desired damping setting. Most shocks have at least 20 settings (clicks) from full-firm to full-soft. The owner’s manual lists recommended settings that you can use as a baseline to adjust damping.

At the track, the DFV system reacts quickly to major and minor imperfections to keep the car in contact with the track surface. The result is better grip, more traction, and quicker response times.

On the street, the DFV system will react quickly to minor road imperfections, providing OEM levels of ride comfort. It also allows your car to crest bumps and potholes without losing control or traction.

Öhlins Road & Track Coilover Suspension Systems are height-adjustable from zero to one inch depending on the vehicle.
