Get the Amps You Need and that Classic Generator Look with a Powermaster PowerGEN Alternator

Alternators provide plenty of output compared to an old-school generator, but they don’t look right on vintage engines. Powermaster PowerGEN Alternators give you plenty of amps in a case that looks like a classic generator. Available in 60- and 90-amp versions, they’re half the weight of an OE generator and have an internal regulator for a clean one-wire hookup. You can even get one designed for six-volt electrical systems so you don’t have to change your lighting, gauges, and other components to 12 volts.

Some Powermaster PowerGEN Alternators are also available with a terminal to power and illuminate your vehicle’s generator light. Just look for part numbers with a ‘-2’ at the end.

If you have a vintage Ford four-cylinder, flathead inline six, or a flathead V8, Summit Racing has PowerGEN Alternators with a mounting bracket.

Powermaster PowerGEN Alternators are available with a black powdercoat, polished, or chrome finish. The alternators are available with 1/2-, 3/8-, or 5/8-inch wide pulleys. Make sure the alternator you choose has a pulley to match the belt width for your original generator.
