Get the Big Spark You Need with a PerTronix Flame-Thrower Ignition Coil

PerTronix Flame-Thrower Ignition Coils generate plenty of spark energy to put the boom in your engine’s combustion of air and fuel, and they’re all 50-state emissions-legal too (CARB E.O. #D-57-21).

Canister Coils
These coils deliver 40,000 to 45,000 volts of spark energy to your plugs. That allows you to run larger plug gaps for added power, smoother throttle response, and better fuel economy. They're available in versions for use with PerTronix Ignitor, Ignitor II, and Ignitor III modules. Your choice of oil-filled or epoxy-filled canisters.

E-Core Coils
The E-Core coils generate 50,000 to 60,000 volts of spark energy. They feature a vacuum-potted body for longer life and better reliability, an aluminum heat sink, and precision-machined high-tension male and brass primary terminals. They’re available in three versions:
• Direct replacement for GM HEI and Ford TFI coils
• HV coils for points distributors and distributors with a PerTronix Ignitor I or II module
• HC coil for capacitive-discharge ignitions and distributors with an Ignitor III module

LS Coils
The Flame-Thrower coils for GM LS engines put out 30,000 to 35,000 volts of spark. They feature an optimized coil design for improved spark energy throughout the RPM range and right up to 11,000 RPM. The coils are epoxy molded to prevent premature failure due to shock and vibration, have plated terminals for better spark transfer, and are direct replacements for most factory coils.

Ford Coil on Plug Coils
These coils for Ford Modular two-, three-, and four-valve engines make 15% more spark energy than the stock coils. Like the LS coils, they are good to 11,000 RPM and are epoxy molded to prevent premature failure due to shock and vibration. Other features include a high-temperature silicone boot for an improved seal and plated terminals for better spark transfer.
