Get the Perfect Paint Match with a Milwaukee Tool M12 Color Match Light

Automotive manufacturers often have multiple variants of the same paint code. Trying to find the right one to ensure a paint repair matches a vehicle’s color is hard to do with the naked eye. That’s why color match lights like Milwaukee Tools’ M12 Color Match Light are so valuable for getting a perfect paint match, ensuring complete paint coverage, and finding very small scratches and imperfections.

One important factor in color matching is the Color Rendering Index (CRI), a measurement of light in relation to how it affects the appearance of color. Sunlight, for example, has a CRI of 100. The M12 light has a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 98+ to closely replicate natural sunlight, plus five color temperatures that cover the full spectrum of daylight. That’s a big deal because you will be able to see the difference in color between paint code chips as they would appear if they were outside. When you get the right color match in the paint booth, the new paint will match the rest of the vehicle when you roll it out of the shop.

Other features of the Milwaukee M12 Color Match Light include:
• 1,000 Lumen LED light to better see metallics and scratches in the paint
• Three brightness modes—1,000, 600, and 300 lumens
• Beam angle and distance allows full panel inspection
• Up to 14 hours run time with an M12™ REDLITHIUM™ XC4.0 battery, sold separately
• Resistant to most body and paint chemicals

The Milwaukee M12 Color Match Light has a limited lifetime warranty on the LEDs and a five-year warranty on the tool.
