Get the Proper Length Pushrods, Swap Valve Springs Quickly, and Peek Inside Your Engine with These New Tools from Summit Racing

Make some room in your toolbox—we have three new tools that you will definitely want to add to your collection.

Summit Racing EZ Pushrod Length Checkers
Get accurate, consistent measurements every time and without the hassle with Summit Racing’s EZ Pushrod Length Checkers. Easy to use (it’s literally in the name), simply loosen the set screw, tighten the rocker arm nut, tighten the set screw, and remove the rocker. Measure the length with a dial and voilà, you have the perfect pushrod length.

Summit Racing EZ Pushrod Length Checkers are made from stainless steel for a lifetime of use. They are available in a master kit for professional engine builders for several engine types or individually for these engines:

  • Chevrolet small block, big block, and LS/LT
  • Mopar Gen III Hemi
  • Ford small block Windsor and 7.3L Godzilla

LSM Racing Valve Spring Removal Tools
Do easy valve spring swaps with the cylinder heads mounted on the engine with an LSM Racing Valve Spring Removal Tool. Here’s how it works:

  • Remove the rocker arm and loosen the adjuster nuts on the tool
  • Mount the tool to the rocker stand and align it for the valve angle
  • Bring the piston up to TDC or pump the cylinder full of air to hold the valves in place
  • Screw the tool down to compress the spring, remove the valve locks, and back off the tool off
  • Remove the spring and reverse the procedure to install a new spring
To really speed up the process, get yourself an LSM Racing Speed Handle. It mounts to the valve spring removal tool so you can spin on and off the compressor even faster.

The LSM Racing Valve Spring Removal Tool body is made of high-grade aluminum with a red anodized finish, while the adjusters and compressor assembly are made from high-quality steel.  The tool can handle up to 1,000 pounds of spring pressure—plenty of grunt for even the gnarliest of performance engines. They are available for all makes and models of classic and modern American V8 engines.

Milwaukee M12 Borescope
For as long as there have been engines, home builders and professional mechanics alike have wished they had X-ray vision to see what’s going on inside them. With a Milwaukee M12 Borescope in your tool arsenal, your wish has been granted.

The borescope features a small, 5mm diameter camera paired with a three-foot-long cable to access deep inside your engine without removing any parts. Front and side view cameras with five-level adjustable LED brightness provide increased viewing. High-definition photo and video capture with 4X zoom allows you to diagnose problems and tough to spot issues like hairline cracks with confidence. A 4.3-inch, 270° rotatable screen allows viewing in the tightest of spaces. Additional features include:
  • Gallery to access, export, and share images and video on the included 32GB SD card
  • HEAT SENSE Temperature Alert Technology notifies the user if the vehicle is too hot to use the camera
  • Powered by the Milwaukee M12 battery system that is compatible with all other Milwaukee M12 tools
  • Field-replaceable camera cable reduces downtime in the event the cable is damaged
  • Hard storage case
