Recovery Boards
MaxTrax’s Recovery Boards are the gold standard by which all other recovery boards are measured. They are available in three styles and are covered by a limited lifetime warranty: 

XTREME Recovery Boards are MaxTrax’s most advanced recovery board. Designed using direct feedback from elite military units, off-road racing champions, and certified 4x4 driver trainers, the boards feature 88 large, replaceable alloy teeth molded into a heavy-duty, reinforced nylon frame. A proprietary thread and lock system ensures secure engagement of the teeth in the board to deliver maximum tire traction. The teeth are anodized to protect against corrosion in salt water and muddy environments, and six oversized grab handles optimized for gloved hands make moving the lightweight boards into position a piece of cake. A pair of MaxTrax Telltale Leashes are included to make picking up and finding buried boards easier. 

MaxTrax XTREME Recovery Boards are 46 inches long x 14 inches wide.

MKII Recovery Boards will help you get unstuck in mud, sand, snow, and other conditions. Reinforced, engineering-grade nylon construction won’t break or crack, and high UV resistance means they won’t fade or turn white with repeated exposure to the sun. Molded-in cleats resist wheel spin without risking tire damage. Six built-in handles make them easy to maneuver, and a shovel on each end makes moving them into position in soft soils a breeze. 

Maxtrax MKII Recovery Boards measure 45 inches long x 13 inches wide x 3.5 inches high. They are available in stealth black, titanium gray, and FJ blue colors and come with a set of MaxTrax Telltale Leashes.

Mini Recovery Boards are nearly identical to the MKII series in just about every way but size. Measuring 15 inches long x 7 inches wide, they are intended for compact and lightweight trucks, SUVs, UTVs, and other applications with space constraints. 

Recovery Rope
MaxTrax Recovery Ropes use kinetic energy to stretch up to 30 percent over traditional flat snatch straps for smoother, safer dynamic recovery of stuck or stranded vehicles. The 16.4 foot long strap is .944 inches in diameter and has a breaking strength of 26,455 pounds. 

Fuse Shackle
Used in combination with Recovery Rope, the MaxTrax Fuse Shackle is a sacrificial weak link in a recovery situation, designed to break before doing damage to more expensive recovery straps or the vehicle’s recovery points. It is made from high density polyethylene and has a 15,432 pound load rating.
