Go Wide With a Clinched Widebody Kit or Fender Flares

The widebody look is hip and happening—so much so that Dodge makes widebody versions of the Charger and Challenger and sells every one they can make.

You can go wide too with a Clinched Widebody Kit or a set of fender flares. They add extra clearance for really aggressive (read: big) wheels and tires, and a big dose of cool too.

Clinched makes its body components from 3mm thick ABS plastic—the same durable material used for OEM bumper covers—that add very little weight. Clinched uses CNC-machined aluminum molds to form its products. It’s not the cheapest way to make things, but it is the best way to insure high quality fit and appearance.

Widebody Kits
Clinched uses 3D scanning/files and CNC technology to insure its Widebody Kits fit properly. Not all widebody kits can say that. All components come in unpainted black ABS so you can paint or wrap them to match your vehicle’s color and finish.

Most kits include front and rear fender flares, side skirts, front bumper lip, rubber gaskets, and stainless steel rivets, bolts, and washers. Kits may include a ducktail rear spoiler and quarter panel flares based on application—check the description for your vehicle to see what’s included. Most kits require sheetmetal modifications.

Fender Flares
Summit Racing carries seven styles of universal-fit Clinched Fender Flares, all available in pairs for front or rear:

Muscle Fender Flares are designed to complement the classic bodylines of American muscle cars. They’re available in 3.7-, 4-, and 6-inch widths.

New School Fender Flares are designed for modern performance cars. They’re available in 1.6-, 2.75-, and 3.9-inch widths. The New School XL flares feature an enlarged radius to better fit cars with large wheelwells; they’re available in 1.6-, 2.7-, and 4-inch widths.

Classic Fender Flares have a more subtle look that mimics the flares found on classic European and JDM cars. They’re available in 1.2-, 2-, and 3.5-inch widths.

Eurolook Fender Flares follow modern European car wheel arch openings and have flat surfaces and 2 cm corner edging. They’re available in 2.75- and 3-inch widths.

Slider Fender Flares have a flat profile with uneven-sized ends—one end is fatter than the other.

Glider Fender Flares have beefy wheel arches with a flat profile and hardware pockets. They’re available in 2.75- and 4.7-inch widths.

Summit Racing also carries Clinched Ducktail Spoilers for Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang, BMW E92 coupe and F30 sedan, Lexus IS300, and Mitsubishi Evolution.
