Helix Mustang II IFS Suspension Packages: IFS Ride and Handling for Almost Everything
With over 20,000 kits for 1930s cars, 1980s-era trucks, and lots of stuff in between, there is a Helix Mustang II IFS Suspension Package to make your vehicle handle and ride better. Helix designed them with vehicle-specific factory dimensions and mount locations for correct suspension geometry and smooth installation. It all starts with a basic kit that includes tubular control arms; rack and pinion steering; ANSI 1045 carbon steel spindles; disc brakes with 11 inch rotors, GM metric-style calipers with pads; heavy-duty ball joints and tie rod ends; brackets; and mounting hardware.
From there the choices are almost endless:
• Standard nitrogen gas-charged shocks with 10-stage valving
• Aluminum coilover shocks adjustable for ride height and spring rate
• Airbag shocks adjustable for ride height
• Aero Shock air struts adjustable for ride height
• Stock height or 2 inch drop spindles
• Manual or power rack and pinion
• Steel crossmember
Summit Racing carries Helix Mustang II IFS Suspension Packages for popular GM, Ford, and Chrysler cars and trucks from the 1930s through the 1970s, plus vehicles from manufacturers other companies don’t cover. Have a 1936 Hudson Terraplane, 1941 Graham Hollywood, 1952 Studebaker Champion, or a 1960 Metropolitan? Helix has kits just for you.
With so many options available, the best way to get the right kit for your application is by consulting with a friendly, knowledgeable Summit Racing rep and have them guide you through the process. All kits require welding.
