Holley Helps You Do an LT4 or LT5 Swap and Keep Your Factory Power Steering

LS engine swaps are so 2019. GM’s supercharged LT4 and LT5 engines are where it’s at. With 650 horsepower (LT4) and 755 horsepower (LT5) on tap, it’s not hard to figure out why.

The factory went to electric power steering for the Corvettes and Camaros that got these engines, so they don’t have provisions to accommodate the hydraulic power steering older vehicles have. But Holley solved that problem with its Retro-Fit Hydraulic Power Steering Add-on Kits. The kits make it easy to add a GM Type II power steering pump to the factory serpentine accessory drive system. The design incorporates a splined dual bearing system that takes up the supercharger’s high side belt loads, eliminating stress on the pump’s internal bearings.

Features include:
• Supercharger drive maintains the OEM belt path and tensioner
• Large dual ball bearing assembly carries supercharger belt side loads
• Throttle body angle-correcting adapter makes it easier to route air intake tubing
• Maintains OEM pulley ratios for optimal accessory performance
• Allows the use of a larger (15% overdrive) supercharger crank pulley

The Holley Retro-Fit Hydraulic Power Steering Add-on Kits come with an original equipment Type II power steering pump and hard line adapters. They’re available for LT4 wet- and dry-sump and LT5 dry-sump engines.
