How Milwaukee Tool Makes Better Screwdrivers and Cutting Pliers

Milwaukee Tool wanted to make top-quality screwdrivers and pliers in the USA, so it wrote a big $55,000,000 check for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in West Bend, Wisconsin to do just that. Take a look at all of the features Milwaukee Tool put into these tools and we think you’ll agree the investment paid off—especially for you. The screwdrivers and pliers are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Cushion Grip Screwdrivers
Like the name says, Cushion Grip screwdrivers have a durable cushion grip handle with an anti-peel design to ensure the grips will not fall off. But that’s just part of what makes these screwdrivers so good:

• Custom-machined and laser-etched tips for a precise fit in the screw head without stripping or slipping
• Tips are made from boron-infused, American-made steel for long life
• Bolsters for a wrench to maximize leverage and control
• Cross-hatch knurled shanks provide better grip for precise control
• Permanent screwdriver type and size ID on the end of the handle
• Hole in the handle to attach a lanyard or secure to a peg hook

Milwaukee Tool Cushion Grip Screwdrivers are available with tips for Phillips, slotted, square, cabinet, and ECX screws.

Cutting Pliers
Press-forged and precision-machined from American steel, Milwaukee Tool Cutting Pliers feature laser-hardened cutting blades and teeth to reduce wear. The pliers are riveted using an automated process that allows for smooth opening and closing with no break-in required. If you’ve wrestled with pliers that require two men and a small boy to operate, you’ll appreciate that feature.

Diagonal Pliers have a tapered nose with flush cutting blades allowing you to cut to the tip. Integral reaming ridges remove burrs from the inside of smooth pipe. Other features include a built-in fish tape puller and molded Comfort Grip handles that won’t peel off.

Lineman’s Pliers have a reaming head that can handle conduit from 1/2 to 1 inch in diameter. They are available in versions with a built-in crimper for insulated and non-insulated terminals, a crimper plus a bolt cutter for #6 and #8 bolts; a fish tape puller; or a thread cleaner.

Long Nose Pliers have a 2-inch gripping nose to easily pull wire and material through tight spaces. Other features include integral reaming ridges for removing burrs from the inside of smooth pipe, a wire cutter, a fish tape puller, and Comfort Grip handles.
