Improve Your Classic Mustang or Cougar’s Braking with a LEED Brakes Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit

Ditch the heavy and mediocre-performing factory drum brakes on your Ford or Mercury pony car for the added safety, reliability, and performance of a LEED Brakes Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit. Designed to replace factory front drum brakes, the kits include everything you need to mount OEM-style four-piston disc brakes to your car’s original drum brake spindles with no cutting, drilling, or welding required. The brakes will even fit behind most factory 14-inch disc brake-style wheels.

The kits feature LEED’s MaxGrip Lite four-piston aluminum calipers with pads and slotted and MaxGrip XDS cross-drilled rotors for extra stopping power. They also include backing plates, braided stainless steel brake line, and all necessary hardware. Most kits come with a dual master cylinder and adjustable proportioning valve, and many come with a power brake booster. Some kits even include a new power brake pedal.

If you have a car with factory disc brakes, Summit Racing has LEED Brakes caliper and rotor upgrade kits that are direct replacements for the stock parts.

LEED Brakes Front Disc Brake Conversion Kits are available for 1964-73 Mustang and 1967-73 Mercury Cougar/Cyclone vehicles.
