Keep on Moving with Alloy USA Driveline Products
You’re not going anywhere if your driveline breaks. So why not do some preventative maintenance and upgrade to durable Alloy USA parts? Alloy USA is best known for its near-indestructible axle shafts, but it also makes lots of other driveline, suspension, and brake parts suitable for everything from street use to racing and off-roading.
Axle Shafts
SNAP! That’s the sound of an OEM axle shaft breaking under stresses it was never designed to accommodate. Fortunately, Summit Racing offers Alloy USA axle shafts and kits that will fix that problem. They’ll be on your vehicle a long time too—Alloy USA puts a 10-year limited warranty on each shaft.
• Performance Rear Axle Kits are manufactured from 1541H or 4340 steel depending on the application. They are heat-treated and induction-hardened, and are precision CNC-machined and Magnaflux-inspected for cracks. Seals, bearings, and wheel studs are included
• High-Strength Rear Axle Kits have all the features of the Performance axles but are double-heat-treated to make them up to 35 percent stronger
• Grande Axle Shaft Kits for Jeep Dana 35 and 44 are manufactured from high tensile strength 4340 chromoly steel that’s heat-treated, tempered, and induction-hardened to make them up to 40 percent stronger than stock 1040 axles. If you have a 1987-89 Wrangler or Cherokee with Dana 35s, you can get front and rear axle shaft kits with ARB Air Locker differentials
• Direct-Fit Axle Shafts are made from the same materials as the performance shafts, but are direct swaps for the factory shafts. They don’t come with seals, bearings, or wheel studs
Ball Joint Kits for Jeep
Lift kits and big tires kill factory ball joints. Once you feel the dreaded "death wobble," you’ll know it’s time to replace those failed joints with Alloy USA ball joints. They’re made from high-strength 4150 chromoly steel and feature low-profile Zerk fittings so you can regularly grease them and extend their lifespan. The ball joints also have an exclusive, close-tolerance threaded preload system for precise steering. They’re available for many 1972-2017 Jeep vehicles.
Front Axle Disconnect Kits
Don’t completely trust your vehicle’s factory vacuum- or electric-actuated front axle engagement system? An Alloy USA Front Axle Disconnect Kit replaces that system with a cable-actuated setup that lets you engage and disengage the front axle from inside the vehicle. Just pull the cable and you’ll have four-wheel drive when you need it as long as the transfer case is engaged. It’s safe, simple, and reliable, and available for Dana 30/44/60 and GM 7.2 inch IFS front axles for GM, Ford, and Dodge trucks.
Ring and Pinion Gear Sets
Adding big wheels and tires will throw off your vehicle’s performance, but you can compensate with a set of Alloy USA ring and pinion gears. Available in 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88, and 5.13 ratios, these gear sets are made from high quality 8620 forgings and precisely cut for quiet operation and long life. Alloy USA gear sets are available for many popular axles and are covered by a five year limited warranty.
Summit Racing also carries other Alloy USA parts including ring and pinion installation kits; front axle shafts; wheel spacers and adapters; and locking hub conversion kits.
