Keep Your American Classic on the Road with Parts from Kanter Auto

Kanter Auto was founded in 1960 when brothers Fred and Dan Kanter finished restoring a 1937 Packard One Twenty. While working on it, they discovered extra parts in the car and after finishing the project, they sold them for more than they paid for the car. Thus, Kanter Auto was born, at first specializing in Packard auto parts.

Fast forward 66 years. Kanter now serves all makes and models of classic American classic cars mainly from the 1930s to the 1980s. They specialize in everything from Cadillacs to Willys and everything in between.

Now you can get Kanter parts at Summit Racing. Here are just a few that are available:

Kanter Brake Drums are designed to maintain the braking integrity of vintage vehicles. That way owners can keep the original drum brake configuration instead of converting them to modern discs. They’re made with cast iron for strong braking, thermal resistance, and longevity.

Front and rear brake drums are available for GM and Ford cars and trucks made between 1936 and 1959. You can also get Kanter brake shoes, brake hoses, master cylinders, and wheel cylinders at Summit Racing.

Worn-down center links can cause poor handling, unwanted vibration, and uneven tire wear. Kanter Center Links will restore smooth steering and proper wheel alignment for an improved driving experience.

Kanter Auto Center Links are available for dozens of cars and trucks made between 1954 and 2003. Other Kanter Auto front-end steering and suspension products:

• Pitman arms
• Sway bars
• Idler arms and drag links
• Control arms, bushings, and shaft
• Ball joints
• Tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves.

If you need OE-style cast aluminum replacement pistons for your classic but don’t want to break the bank, consider cast pistons from Kanter. The pistons are a reliable, cost-effective option for restoring classic and vintage engines to their original specifications and performance levels.

Kanter Cast Pistons are available for a large variety of 1930-80 American classics with six-cylinder and V8 engines.

Summit Racing also offers Kanter piston rings; cam, main, and rod bearings; valves; lifters; and camshafts to help complete your project.
