Race engines love to move around. The large amount of torque output will rock the engine front to back and left to right. That movement plays havoc with driveline geometry and can even break transmission cases.

A Summit Racing™ Front Motor Plate will keep your engine from moving and will also add rigidity to the engine compartment. That can go a long way towards decreasing the rotational stress and chassis flex that occurs during a hard launch. The one-piece motor plates are made in the USA from .250-inch thick 6061 T-6 aluminum and can be trimmed to fit a wide range of chassis configurations. They’re available for small block Chevy, big block Chevy, and GM LS engines.

If you want to improve chassis rigidity even more, get a Summit Racing™ Mid-Mount Motor Plate. It’s made from the same .250-inch thick 6061 T-6 aluminum as the front motor plates and fits small and big block Chevy.

Summit Racing™ Remote Mount LS Ignition Coil Relocation Brackets
LS engine ignition coil packs do a great job producing spark. They’re also not very good-looking and take up a lot of space on top of your valve covers. You can fix that by moving the coil packs using Summit Racing™ Remote Mount LS Ignition Coil Relocation Brackets. The kit comes with two black powdercoated steel brackets (one for each bank of coils), billet aluminum spacers, stainless steel washers, and mounting bolts. All you have to do is figure out where to mount those homely little devils.
