If you’ve been in the hot rod game for a long time, then it’s been drilled into your head that to keep your high-performance or racing engine perfectly timed, you need a double roller timing chain. For many years, that was fact. But times change. Today, builders not only need stable timing, durability, and a long service life, they also want a more compact design with less weight like you get with these Summit Racing™ Pro LS Adjustable Single Row Billet Timing Sets. 

Designed for GM LS engines, the sets feature timing gears made from sturdy billet steel for the toughness and reliability high-revving performance engines need. The chains are a roller-type with pins and rollers that spin as they ride over the gear teeth to reduce friction and chain stretch. Special captured degree bushings allow the cam to be advanced or retarded in two-degree increments to fine tune valve events or to precisely set piston-to-valve clearance. The camshaft gears are compatible with factory LS2 timing chains if you prefer to use them instead. 

Precision-machined and ready to install right out of the package, the Pro LS adjustable timing sets are available with standard length chains for non-machined engines or in .005"- and .010"-under chain lengths for align-honed blocks. The adjustable gears work with all three-bolt performance cams and are available in both 1x and 4x configurations to match any LS engine.
