Know When a Tire is Low with a Summit Racing™ TPMS IntelliDisplay for Ford Vehicles

All new vehicles are required by law to have a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to let you know when a tire is low on air. But the law doesn’t say the system has to tell you which tire it is, let alone what the pressure or temperature is. On many Ford vehicles, for example, all you will see is a little warning light when a tire loses pressure.

That’s what makes a Summit Racing™ TPMS IntelliDisplay so handy. Just plug the unit into a USB port or a 12 volt accessory outlet and it will let you monitor each individual tire's pressure and temperature. You can even set your own warning threshold for temperature and inflation pressure for up to five different sets of tires. That’s a big plus if you switch between summer and winter tires or run bigger tires on an off-road vehicle.

The Summit Racing TPMS IntelliDisplay is compatible with the factory 315 MHz TPMS sensors found on many Ford cars, trucks, and SUVs back to the early 2000s. You can even retrofit an older vehicle—a truck that tows or hauls heavy loads, for example—with the IntelliDisplay by installing a Dorman Ford 315 MHz TPMS sensor in each wheel. That can give you some peace of mind out on the road.
