Premium Super Finished Bearings increase wheel free spin by more than 250 percent and run 100 degrees cooler than an OEM-type bearing. DRP takes premium quality bearings and puts them through a finishing process that removes grind marks and smooths the surface of the bearing roller, while leaving a "hatch" pattern to retain grease. Quality wheel bearings will last the life of most racing applications.

Hub Defender Bearing Spacers will provide an immediate increase in wheel hub free spin—a difference you can feel just by pushing the car around in the pits. The spacers have a threaded adjustment so you can quickly set bearing end play or preload. A set-screw locks the spacer at the desired adjustment. Once installed, the spacers do not need to be readjusted unless you replace the hub or bearings.

Another plus is easier maintenance. The spacers help the wheel bearings run cooler and reduce the frequency of repacking them. You can even tighten the spindle nut as much as you want without overtightening the bearings, though DRP does recommend tightening spindle nuts to 20-40 lbs.-ft.
