Lower Your 1988-98 C1500 While Improving its Handling and Drivability with Aldan American Coilover Kits
Remember the sport truck craze of the early 1990s? We do. It seemed like overnight everyone went from building 5.0 Mustangs and TPI Camaros to dropping S-10s, Rangers, and full-size trucks by the, um, truckload. And there was no better-looking truck on the road than the 1988 and up Chevy/GMC C1500. They were easy on the eyes, V8-powered (at least the ones we wanted were), and had a simple coil spring front/leaf spring rear suspension that was as easy to rework to get the truck down in the weeds.
The team at Aldan American never forgot how awesome the 1988-98 C1500 trucks were. They’ve been hard at work creating suspension parts that are lightyears ahead of what was available 30 years ago so your truck will not just have the looks, but also a better ride, handling, and cornering than ever before.
It’s features like these that make Aldan American Coilover Kits so great:
- Lightweight design: Reduces unsprung weight and stress on the chassis and other suspension parts. Shock bodies are crafted from CNC-machined, 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and matched with high-tensile chrome silicon steel coil springs for consistent performance. A black powdercoat finish provides added durability and a pleasing appearance
- OEM fitment: Easy, bolt-on installation in the original shock and spring mounting locations with little to no modifications needed
- Fully adjustable design: Ride height adjustment up to two inches lower than stock gives you the ability to achieve the stance you want while also delivering a smoother, more consistent ride. Adjustable shock valving allows you to control damping to further improve ride quality and increase cornering and handling prowess
- Works with other aftermarket components: Aldan American products can be used with factory or aftermarket tubular control arms and spindles for even greater lowering increases and additional ride and handling improvements
- Factory serviceable and rebuildable: The coilovers and shocks can be fully serviced and/or overhauled by Aldan American for even longer life
- Lifetime warranty: If you experience any defects in materials and workmanship with these components, Aldan American will rebuild or replace them as long as you own your truck
- Made in the USA
