Make Power to 7,000 RPM with a Summit Racing™ Pro LS Camshaft and Valve Spring Kit

Summit Racing’s line of Pro LS hydraulic roller camshafts for GM’s LS engines are a great performance value. Now we’ve gone a step further and bundled the cams with a set of matched valve springs that can reliably handle 7,000-plus RPM.

The Summit Racing™ Pro LS, Pro LS Turbo, and Pro LS Single Plane Camshaft Kits come with Trick Flow by PAC Racing dual or beehive valve springs. Both are CNC-coiled from high-tensile-strength Pacaloy™ chrome-silicon steel.

The beehive springs are double shot-peened beyond Aerospace Material Specifications (AMS) reliability standards. The dual valve springs are nano-peened to ‘relax’ the steel, which helps minimize the springs’ load loss over time. The dual springs come with a choice of chromoly steel or titanium retainers.

The Summit Racing™ Pro LS Vortec Truck Camshaft Kits come with Chevrolet Performance LS6 beehive valve springs. The 1.290 inch diameter single springs are rated for camshafts up to .550 inch lift and are good for 6,500-plus RPM use. The kits also include valve stem seals and valve locks.

You can also get a Pro LS camshaft and valve springs in a ‘Level 2’ kit that includes valve cover gaskets, a timing cover gasket set with seals and oil pump O-rings, valve stem seals, and a harmonic balancer bolt.
