Make Secure Connections in a Snap with Jiffy-tite Fittings

Tired of messing with traditional, difficult-to-assemble AN fittings? Give Jiffy-tite Quick-Connect fittings a try the next time you have a plumbing job to do.  A Jiffy-tite fitting consists of a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum socket with brass valves, stainless steel ball bearings and springs, and O-ring seals. The socket fits on a male plug—just pull back on the socket collar, insert the plug, and release the collar. To disconnect, pull back on the socket collar. It literally takes a second to connect and disconnect a Jiffy-Tite fitting.

Unlike traditional threaded fittings, Jiffy-tite fittings are virtually leakproof, even when disconnected. That makes working on the fluid systems in a race car between rounds easier, safer, and a lot less messy.

There are three series of Jiffy-tite fittings, based on size. This allows maximum flow through the socket and plug:
• 2000 Series for -3AN, -4AN, -6AN, 1/8 inch NPT, and 1/4 inch NPT line and hose
• 3000 series for -6AN, -8AN, 1/4 inch NPT, and 3/8 inch NPT line and hose
• 5000 series for -8AN, -10AN, -12AN, 3/8 inch NPT, and 3/4 inch NPT line and hose

Summit Racing also carries Jiffy-tite Quick-Connect Plugs and Caps to keep dirt out of disassembled fittings, plus Carburetor Fitting Kits and a Transmission Line Kit.
