The increased fluid volume also helps maintain stable and consistent line pressure and circulation, which is crucial for reliable transmission operation at higher engine speeds.
TCI’s rotor is considerably stronger too. It’s machined from heat-treated billet steel, making it far less prone to fracturing than factory versions, which are made from weaker powdered metal. A hardened pump vane and rotor rings enhance the overall endurance and service life of the front pump.
The TCI 13-Vane Billet Rotor Kit is a direct replacement for the factory rotor, making it a straightforward installation in stock or performance-built transmissions. It fits GM 200R4, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E transmissions.
