Make Your LS Swap a Lot Easier with LSX Innovations Products

It sure seems like there is no vehicle that isn’t a candidate for an LS swap. We’ve even seen one fitted to a go-kart by a couple of speed-demon kids.

Motor Mount Conversion Plates
LSX Innovations motor mount conversion plates are designed to fit a 1997-2013 LS engine in any Chevy car or truck that originally used three-bolt small block motor mounts. That covers most 1960s and ‘70s passenger cars and pickups. The plates also have machined pockets to clear the bump on the backside of the small block motor mounts—no grinding is necessary for a proper fit. LSX Innovations recommends these plates for engines up to 500 horsepower.

To eliminate firewall clearance issues, the non-adjustable plates position the engine one inch forward from the factory location. The adjustable plates have four positions to help clear headers, oil pans, and steering boxes: stock small block location; forward 7/16 inch; forward 1.75 inch; and forward 2.25 inch. Hardware is included.

Summit Racing also has LSX Innovations universal motor mounts. Ideal for hot rods, off-road buggies, and other custom applications, the steel mounts bolt to the side of the LS block and offer two inches of adjustment front to back. Two extra-long 5.5 inch tabs are included to cut and weld to the vehicle frame, plus polyurethane bushings and Grade 8 hardware.

LSA Six-Rib Accessory Drive Bracket Kits
LSX Innovations LSA six-rib accessory drive bracket kits use factory LS truck accessories, eliminating the need to buy an eight-rib system to accommodate the stock supercharger. This system has more belt wrap than any other system available on the market. The brackets are made from half-inch thick billet aluminum so you won’t have issues with flex or throwing belts.

Summit Racing carries LSX Innovations accessory drive systems for use with the stock supercharger pulley, or with an upgraded tensioner if you plan to use a smaller blower pulley or rev past 6,200 RPM. If you use a Gen III water pump you will need to trim or bend the water outlet slightly to clear the bypass valve. Water pumps for Gen IV engines have no clearance issues. No throttle body spacer is needed to clear factory four-bolt drive-by-wire throttle bodies. You will need to pin your crank if installing a supercharger; we have LSX Innovations crank pin kits to do the job.

Alternator and Power Steering Bracket Kits
Many LS swaps require aftermarket LS accessory brackets due to clearance issues. LSX Innovations alternator and power steering brackets are CNC-machined from billet aluminum that won’t bend or flex. The kits come with the bracket, an idler pulley, and mounting hardware. They’re available with Camaro, Corvette, and truck belt spacing in low- and high-mount configurations. We also have an alternator, power steering, and A/C bracket kit that lets you add hydraulic power steering to a Gen V LT truck engine.
