Maximize Performance with Torco Advanced Lubricants

Way back in 1948, Torco Advanced Lubricants’ founder Bob Lancaster invented the first 20w50 racing oil at the request of his brother-in-law, who was dry-lake racing motorcycles and experiencing serious engine wear. It’s a cool story—read it on Torco’s website.

The stuff must have worked, because Torco is still at it with high-performance motor oils and lubricants for street-driven cars, trucks, motorcycles, racing, ATVs/UTVs, and most anything else with an engine.

Torco does not ‘mass produce’ its oil and lubricants. Much like expensive craft beer, they are blended in small batches to ensure the product performance is consistent bottle-to-bottle. Torco products aren’t cheap, but then, neither is your engine.

SR-1 Motor Oil
SR-1 Motor Oil is designed for street-driven performance vehicles. It is a full synthetic oil with proprietary additives, including Torco’s Generation-2 MPZ® that significantly reduces wear due to friction and also protects bearings from varnish and sludge. SR-1 is so good at reducing friction, Torco says it can increase horsepower and torque up to three percent. That’s nothing to sneeze at.

Torco SR-1 Motor Oil is available in 5W30, 5W40, and 0W20 weights in one quart and one liter bottles, or a set of 12 one-quart bottles.

TR-1R Racing Motor Oil
Torco TR-1R Racing Motor Oil is a blend of high-quality petroleum base stocks, special polymers, and proprietary additives including MPZ to minimize frictional losses for increased power. TR-1R also promotes excellent ring seal and thermal stability, and protects against scuffing, galling, and metal transfer for longer engine life. It’s available in 10W30, 10W40, 20W50, SAE 50, and SAE 60 weights, plus Grade 70 for methanol- and nitromethane-fueled cars.

RGO Racing Gear Oil
This gear oil is petroleum-based with high-adhesion polymers for excellent shear stability, thermal stability and high shock load protection. RGO also has a high concentration of extreme pressure, anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, and anti-foam additives to prevent fluid degradation and extend the life of all driveline components. It’s available in 80W90 and 85W140 weights.

DCT Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid
Torco DCT Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid is engineered for the severe operating conditions encountered in high performance street and race cars with dual clutch/direct shift gear transmissions. The fully-synthetic fluid will significantly reduce operating temperatures (the Number 1 killer of transmissions) and has superior shear resistance to improve shifting and increase gear and clutch life.

Unleaded Accelerator
Torco Unleaded Accelerator is just the ticket for turning premium unleaded pump gas into race-ready fuel. It can raise boost fuel up to 105 octane, and you can custom-blend it to reach the octane level you need. Unleaded Accelerator is safe for use with oxygen sensors and catalytic converters, and can be used in two- and four-cycle engines including supercharged and -turbocharged applications. It comes in a set of six 32-ounce cans.
