MRT Off-Road Tires Now Available at Summit Racing

MRT (Moto Race Tire) says they were the first—and so far, only—company that makes Kevlar-belted tires that are military-tested and approved, and built to tackle tough terrain and extreme environments. And if the United States military and race teams competing in the Baja 500, King of the Hammers, and the UTV World Finals like MRT tires, we wager you will too.

Summit Racing carries several types of MRT tires, including these:

X-ROX DD Tire
Made for maximum traction and bite in softer terrain and rocks, MRT says the X-ROX DD is the perfect tire for the backwoods, trail riding, and rock crawling. The tire’s triple-belt Kevlar construction provides maximum sidewall protection and flex while weighing less. Features include:

• Kevlar construction lets you set tire pressure for maximum traction—no worries about blowing out a sidewall
• Self-cleaning square tread pattern provides maximum contact patch for traction in any condition, and superior cornering even in loose debris
• Up to 400 percent more puncture resistant than eight- and 10-ply nylon tires
• Special durometer rubber provides excellent traction and long life

The X-ROX DD Tire is available as a 35 x 10.50-15 for UTVs, crawlers, and buggies. We also carry the tire in 305/65-17 (33 inch), 315/70-17, (35 inch), and 315/60-20 (35 inch) sizes for Jeep, trucks, and SUVs.

Crawler XG Tire
Ideal for racing, trail riding, and even utility work, the Crawler XG tire can handle most any kind of terrain you ride on. The eight-ply radial tire has three Kevlar belts for ultimate sidewall protection, a deep, self-cleaning tread design which helps maintain stability when cornering in soft terrain, and a dual durometer rubber compound provides excellent traction. You can even get a 32 x 10.00-14 Crawler XG with MRT’s Super Sticky compound that will help your machine stick like glue to rocks and other hard surfaces.

UTV Race Tire
The UTV Race is a DOT-compliant tire with a tread pattern and dual-durometer rubber compound optimized for traction on hard pack surfaces, but also performs well in rocks, mud, and sand. The sidewall has six belts of Kevlar for outstanding puncture resistance, and is strong enough to run flat so you can finish your race or trail ride without debeading or any reduction in performance. The UTV Race tire comes in 33 x 10.00-15 sizing, and is available with the Super Sticky compound for maximum traction.
