MSD 2-Step Launch Control for 2016-2018 Mustang GT Now Available at Summit Racing

A launch controller is handy to have at the drags. You can set it to a selected RPM and the limiter will hold your engine at that speed until you release it—ideal for more consistent burnouts and launches, which will help reduce your 60-foot times. And we all like that idea.

If your 5.0L Coyote-powered Mustang was built after February 23, 2016, we have you covered with this MSD 2-Step Launch Control. Two built-in rotary dials allow you to set RPM from 1,800-9,900 in 100 RPM increments. The rev limiter can be activated with a clutch switch or a pushbutton; once you release the rev limiter, the ignition system is fully activated and you’re off down the track.

The MSD 2-Step Launch Control connects to the factory coils and has an LED light to show when the limiter is activated. We also carry an MSD 2-Step for 2011-2015 5.0L Mustangs and 2016 models built before 2/23/16—it’s part number MSD-8731.
