MSD Direct Ignition Systems Now Available at Summit Racing

Now you can get the accurate spark timing and total ignition timing control of a coil-per cylinder ignition system by converting your distributor-style system with the MSD Direct Ignition System. Connect the system controller to your laptop and you can fine-tune ignition for each cylinder with the included MSDView software using preprogrammed timing maps or fully programmable 2D and 3D timing maps. MSDView also has a real-time data acquisition feature for data monitoring and logging.

The DIS system has an integral 2.5 bar MAP sensor perfect for boosted applications, a step-retard feature for nitrous engines, and a built-in launch-retard and two-step rev-limiter for drag racers. The clearly labeled wiring harness takes the guesswork out of the conversion, too.
