MSD Exhaust Backpressure and Dual NTK Wideband O2 Modules Now Available
Getting accurate air/fuel ratio data on a turbocharged engine can be difficult if you can’t compensate for exhaust backpressure after the turbo outlet. Most wideband oxygen sensors can’t do backpressure compensation—but pairing MSD’s Dual NTK Wideband Oxygen and Exhaust Backpressure Modules will give you accurate air/fuel ratio readings on turbo engines with up to 75 PSI of backpressure.
Use one backpressure and one O2 module to monitor a single engine bank, or use four O2 modules and a single backpressure module to get air/fuel ratio readings for each cylinder on a turbo V8 engine.
You can use the MSD modules with your existing data logger or EFI engine management system with the included analog inputs, or plug them directly into an MSD Power Grid Controller (read about the Power Grid here to see why you want one).
Exhaust Backpressure Module
• Add a second backpressure sensor for dual turbo applications
• Can be used as a standalone module with a Power Grid Controller to monitor and record exhaust backpressure up to 74 PSI
Dual NTK Wide Band Oxygen Sensor Module
• Can measure air/fuel ratios as low as 7.35:1 for gasoline engines
• 0.5-4.5V analog output voltage for a gauge or data acquisition
• High speed data acquisition when used with Power Grid Controller
• Fully potted and sealed unit with automotive-grade connectors
• LED indicators monitor system operation
