MSD Power Grid Systems Now Available at Summit Racing Equipment

The same ignition control system used in NHRA Pro Stock, now available for your race car.

Why They’re Cool: The Power Grid Controller offers advanced tuning and timing capabilities. It has a four-step RPM limiter, shift light settings, and five retard stages for nitrous oxide. A data acquisition feature aids in tuning; you can adjust timing based on engine RPM and gearing, and tweak the timing on each individual cylinder.

The controller is compatible with all MSD ignition boxes and uses CAN-Bus technology, which reduces wires and makes adding extra modules much easier. It features a USB connection for easy laptop tuning and includes Windows-compatible MSD View software, a wiring harness, and a micro-SD card.

The Power Grid 7 Ignition Box is the perfect compliment to MSD’s Power Grid Controller. It delivers higher spark output than any other box currently on the market—up to 570 volts with a current draw of just 1.3 amps per 1,000 RPM.
