New at Summit Racing: Chevrolet Performance SP350 Turn-Key Engine Assembly

With most crate engines, you have to provide a few “extras”—things like the fuel pump, starter, alternator, and the front accessory drive. Chevrolet Performance has included all those extras with its SP350 Turn-Key Engine Assembly. It’s a classic small block Chevy rated at 375 peak horsepower and 405 lbs.-ft. of torque at just 3,600 rpm. That’s power you can have a lot of fun with.

Chevrolet Performance assembled the long blockwith top quality parts:
• 350 cubic inch iron block with four-bolt main caps
• Forged steel crankshaft
• Powdered metal connecting rods
• Hypereutectic pistons (9.6:1 compression ratio)
• Hydraulic roller camshaft: .474/.510 inch lift, 208°/221° duration at 0.050 inch
• Fast Burn aluminum cylinder heads with 62cc combustion chambers
• 1.5 ratio stamped steel rocker arms
• Aluminum intake manifold
• HEI distributor
• Timing cover
• Oil pan
• Cast iron long style water pump
• Flexplate (153-tooth, 12.750 inch diameter)
• Eight inch harmonic balancer
• Polished aluminum valve covers

The big crate also includes these parts that you get to bolt on yourself:
• GM-tuned 770 cfm Holley four-barrel carburetor
• Ignition wires and spark plugs
• OEM style starter
• Mechanical fuel pump
• Alternator
• Serpentine accessory drive kit with air conditioning pump
• Steel air cleaner assembly

Chevrolet Performance backs the SP350 Turn-Key Engine Assembly with a two year/50,000 mile parts and labor warranty. It even set the initial timing for you (10° base timing, 32° total). That’s a nice touch.

Summit Racing also carries the Chevrolet Performance SP350 Base Engine Assembly. It’s the same 375 horsepower long block as the Turn-Key engine, but without the carburetor, front drive system, and other accessories.
