New at Summit Racing: Classic Performance Pro Touring Suspension Kits

Horsepower is fun, but using that power to scoot between autocross cones or smoothing out a twisting two-lane road is even more fun. That’s the job of a Classic Performance Pro Touring Suspension Kit. These bolt-on kits take the slop out of your GM musclecar’s factory suspension, improving steering and handling without upsetting ride comfort. That’s a pretty good deal.

Summit Racing carries four stages of Classic Performance Pro Touring kits:

Stage 1 Kits include front lowering coil springs, gas-charged front and rear shocks, and front and rear sway bars. The 1962-67 Nova kit includes a front subframe kit and front upper control arms. Kits for 1968-74 Nova and 1967-81 Camaro come with front upper and lower control arms plus rear lowering leaf springs.

Stage 2 Kits substitute the front shocks and springs from the Stage 1 kits for QA1 adjustable coil-overs. You also get aluminum-bodied rear shocks.

Stage 3 Kits have all the stuff in the Stage 2 kits, plus 11 inch front and rear disc brakes, a chrome master cylinder, and an adjustable brake proportioning valve.

Stage 4 Kits also have Stage 2 components, plus 13 inch front/12 inch rear disc brakes, master cylinder, and an adjustable proportioning valve. These kits require the use of disc brake spindles and 17 inch or larger wheels.

Applications
• 1962-74 Chevy II/Nova
• 1967-81 Camaro
