New at Summit Racing: March Performance Pro-Track Serpentine Conversion Kits for AMC V8

It’s not a Brand X world anymore. Nowadays you can find parts to build virtually anything from a flathead Ford to a straight-eight Buick, Mopar Slant Six, and yes, an AMC V8.

Now AMC fans can replace the old-fashioned V-belt drive with an efficient March Performance Pro-Track Serpentine Conversion Kit. Designed for 304, 360, and 401 cubic inch V8s, the kits feature a three-idler system to provide perfect belt tension for no-slip operation—no more worries about tossing a belt. All brackets and pulleys are made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with your choice of chrome plating or a clear, black, or black onyx powdercoat finish.

Here’s what you get:
• One-piece alternator and A/C compressor bracket
• 105 amp GM CS130 alternator with chrome finish
• Alternator pulley with fan and nose cover
• Sanden 7176 A/C compressor with chrome finish
• A/C compressor nose cover
• Edelbrock aluminum water pump
• Water pump pulley and nose cover
• Crankshaft pulley
• All required mounting hardware

You can also get a Pro-Track Serpentine Conversion Kit with power steering. Those kits come with a GM Type 2 aluminum power steering pump, power steering pulley with nose cover, and mounting bracket with hardware. A remote mount reservoir is required—March makes some nice ones.

If you don’t need a full-on Pro-Track conversion kit, Summit Racing offers March Serpentine Drive Kits. They include an alternator pulley with fan and nose cover, alternator bracket, water pump pulley, and crank pulley. Kits that include a power steering pulley and bracket are also available.
