New at Summit Racing: Preval Spray Systems
Professional quality paint and finish tools.
An airbrush is an invaluable shop tool for both automotive and general hobby use. Preval makes paint systems that deliver professional-quality results, and are easy for the DIY’er to setup and use. Here are some of its most popular products.
Preval’s Sprayer allows painters to mix and spray professional-grade, multi-component paint without a bulky air compressor or expensive spray gun. Simply mix the paint in the included bottle, attach it to the Sprayer, and then paint. It’s much more efficient than standard aerosol paint, because you’re only using the paint you need, and you won’t fill your shop with half-used rattlecans.
The compact Sprayer holds less than 2 ounces of propellant, yet can deliver up to 18 minutes of continuous spray (that’s enough for about 16 ounces of paint). It is compatible with many common primers, paints, clears, gel coats, stains, and lacquers. Additional Sprayer bottles and replacement power units are available separately.
Preval’s vFan siphon-fed, dual-action airbrushes are the secret to a professional-level paint job. Preval makes two versions—one with a bottom-fed option and the other with a gravity fed style, complete with a paint cup. They feature stainless steel construction and are made in the USA.
The clever Preval Portable Airbrush System allows for precision touchups without stretching hoses or wires across the shop floor. It’s also ideal for applying finishes in remote locations or when electric power is unavailable. The kit includes Preval’s vFan airbrush, both a fan and detail air cap, along with three paint bottles, a regulator, air hose, dip tools, and accessories. It also comes with Preval’s ENERGY Dispersement Unit (EDU). The EDU delivers a steady supply of continuous propellant. Click here to see how it works at Preval’s website.
For a reliable air supply that can be lugged around without breaking a sweat, Preval has its own lightweight Electric Compressor. About the size of a football, the compressor delivers a rock-solid supply of air pressure suitable for an airbrush. It’s capable of flowing 5 CFM at a 60 PSI maximum operating pressure.
Preval also offers a comprehensive line of repair and upgrade parts for its spray tools, like bottles, regulators, hoses, valves, storage solutions, and adapters.
