New at Summit Racing: Proform Ford Racing Slant-Edge Air Cleaner Kits

Improving on a time-tested design, Proform’s new Slant-Edge Air Cleaners have the hold-down nut welded to the underside of the assembly. That change eliminates the need for a separate air cleaner wingnut on top, which means no risk of dropping hardware into the engine bay. Better still, Proform’s emblazoned the air cleaners’ smooth top surface with the official Ford Racing logo, making them the perfect way to top off a Ford V8.

This totally new, patented air cleaner design greatly simplifies installation—just position the air cleaner on the carburetor’s threaded stud and spin. Each kit includes the necessary hardware. The covers come in five colors: blue, black, chrome, grey, or red. There’s also a choice of raised or recessed Ford Racing logos. The 13 inch diameter covers will fit any 2-, 3-, or 4-barrel carburetor with a 5-1/8 inch neck.
