New at Summit Racing: Race Ramps Trailer Ramps

Safely load a ground-hugging vehicle.

Loading a lowered vehicle or long-nosed dragster onto a trailer can be a harrowing experience. Race Ramps Trailer Ramps mitigate the headache by decreasing the trailer’s approach angle to as little as four degrees. They’re an absolute must-have for vehicles with an exceptionally low ride height or a low front lip spoiler. Sturdy and lightweight, the ramps are made from foam material similar to that used on the Space Shuttle.

Race Ramps Trailer Ramps are available from 45 to 74 inches long, and from four to seven inches high. Approach angles range from four to eight degrees depending on model. All ramps are 14 inches wide and will handle vehicles up to 6,000 pounds. These ramps feature a one-piece design and are sold in pairs.

Nervous about tying down a super-low vehicle? Race Ramps makes handy Trailer-Mates that position the wheels up off the trailer floor, effectively raising the vehicle’s overall ride height. This makes it much easier to attach the appropriate tie downs and ratchet straps. Troughs in the ramp surface help prevent the wheels from rolling forwards and backwards.
