New at Summit Racing: Rick's Motorsport Electrics

We’ve come a long way from the days when electrical systems for motorcycles and ATVs consisted of a battery and a couple of wires for a headlight and some gauges (maybe). Modern bikes, ATVs, and UTVs have starters, electronic ignition, even alternators.

Rick’s Motorsport Electrics specializes in motorsports electrical systems. The company makes electronic ignition boxes, coils, voltage regulators, and hundreds of repair parts for starting and charging systems. Here are a few of the Ricks’ Motorsport Electrics parts available at Summit Racing:

CDI Ignition Boxes
Summit Racing offers two types of Rick’s Motorsport ignition boxes. The standard CDI ignition boxes are ideal as OEM replacements—they even mount in most factory box locations—and come with the necessary wiring. The ignition boxes are available for many popular 1979-2004 Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha bikes and ATVs.

The Hot Shot CDI ignition boxes have heavy-duty components to provide hotter spark and a performance power curve that can extend your machine’s RPM range up to 1,000 extra RPM. Hot Shot boxes are available for 1989-2009 Honda, Polaris, and Yamaha ATVs and UTVs.

Stators
You won’t be going anywhere if your charging system’s stator is no longer among the living. Rick’s Motorsport stators come with a wiring harness, proper end connectors, and grommets for an easy installation. If your machine is loaded up with lights and other accessories, Summit Racing offers Rick’s Motorsport high output stators too. Stators are available for many 1975-2014 Japanese and European bikes and ATVs as well as Polaris ATVs/UTVs and Arctic Cat snowmobiles.

Starter Motors
Rick’s Motorsport starter motors are direct replacements for OEM and are built with long-life bearings so they—well, last longer. Summit Racing also carries Rick’s Motorsport starter drives, solenoid switches, and other parts if you want to rebuild your old starter.
