New at Summit Racing: Smittybilt Gen2 XRC Winches
Serious pulling power from a winch made to get dirty.
Why They’re Cool: At the heart of each Smittybilt Gen2 XRC Waterproof Winch is a new 6.6 horsepower motor with superior resistance to moisture and the elements. The motor is connected to a three-stage planetary drive system with optimized ratios for increased pulling power and line speed. The state-of-the-art 500 amp solenoid is completely waterproof and can be mounted virtually anywhere.
Gen2 XRC winches are significantly lighter than similarly rated counterparts, yet are built to withstand serious trail use. The winches have a UV-resistant matte black coating and use stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion. Each winch includes a forged hook, steel cable, roller fairlead, and 12-foot wired remote. The winches also conform to SAE J706 standards.
There are four different winches in Smittybilt’s Gen2 XRC series:
SMT-97495: 9,500-pound pull rating
SMT-97412: 12,000-pound pull rating
SMT-97415: 15,500-pound pull rating
SMT-97417: 17,500-pound pull rating
