New at Summit Racing: Snow Performance Boost Coolers

Boost is a wonderful thing—and Snow Performance Boost Cooler can make it even more wonderful. When superchargers and turbos compress air, they also heat it up. Hot air contains less power-building oxygen and can also increase combustion chamber temperatures, leading to detonation issues.

A Snow Boost Cooler precisely injects a water/methanol mixture that cools the incoming air, reducing combustion temperatures and actually increasing fuel octane levels. According to Snow Performance, the result can be an additional 30 to 70 horsepower.

Summit Racing carries these new Snow Performance Boost Coolers:

Stage 2 Boost Cooler
Unlock 50-80 horsepower and decrease inlet air temperatures by up to 150 degrees with a Stage 2 Boost Cooler. Designed for EFI engines running up to 25 psi of boost with a centrifugal supercharger or a large single turbo, the system uses a progressive controller that proportionally injects water/methanol fluid according to boost pressure. The Stage 2 system can also control the two Hyper-Sonic™ fluid nozzles independently of each another for more accurate fluid delivery. That means cooling and performance improvements over a wide rpm range for improved drivability.

The controller comes with a dual-seven color OLED screen that displays boost, percentage of injection, low level, and secondary nozzle activation directly on the screen. The Stage 2 Boost Cooler system includes:
• 300 psi ultra high output pump
• Three quart reservoir
• Controller with dash-mount screen
• Two Hyper-Sonic fluid nozzles
• Wiring harness
• High pressure tubing and necessary hardware

Stage 3 Boost Coolers
Snow Performance says the Stage 3 Boost Cooler is the most advanced water-methanol injection system for naturally aspirated EFI and forced induction EFI engines. The system’s controller creates a 2D injection map based off boost and fuel injector pulse width. It can also control two Hyper-Sonic fluid nozzles independently of each another for more accurate fluid delivery. That means cooling and performance improvements over a wide rpm range for better drivability, and horsepower gains between 50 and 110 horsepower depending the engine and boost levels. The kit includes:
• 300 psi ultra high output pump
• Three quart reservoir
• Controller with dash-mount screen
• Three Hyper-Sonic fluid nozzles
• Wiring harness
• High pressure tubing and necessary hardware

Summit Racing also carries the Snow Performance Stage 3 Boost Cooler for 2011-14 Ford F-150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine. It uses the same controller technology and provides similar power increases as the standard Stage 3 Boost Cooler.

Large Capacity Reservoirs
These large capacity reservoirs are perfect for trunk or truck bed mounting. They come an upgraded power solenoid, quick connect fittings, and extra tubing. Your choice of a three gallon square reservoir or a 10 gallon toolbox-style reservoir for truck bed mounting.
